Volunteers Rock!

At United Way of Indian River County, we are committed to building a strong, more vibrant community. But we don’t do it alone. Volunteers are part of this critical support system.

Last year, nearly 1,000 volunteers throughout Indian River County gave their time and talents to help their neighbors and local organizations during our annual Day of Caring event. From mulching, painting, gardening, organizing, and clerical work, these volunteers completed 57 projects!

And it’s making a difference.

Plus, we have some exciting news to share – we’re doing registration differently. You, the volunteers, have the option of choosing which project you’d prefer. Just pick a project and sign up once you get to the Day of Caring registration page. But if you are having any trouble, our phone lines are open, give us a call at (772) 567-8900, and we’ll help you get set up.

Research shows that people who volunteer with others experience a boost in mental health. It’s easy, register yourself and once you submit, a personalized link will be generated for you to share with anyone you choose!
