GYAC Earns Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

GIFFORD, FL — Wednesday, August 23, 2023 — The Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) is proud to announce that its strong financial health and ongoing accountability and transparency has earned a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator. This rating designates GYAC as an official “Give with Confidence” charity, indicating that our organization is using its donations effectively based on Charity Navigator’s criteria. Charity Navigator is America’s largest and most-utilized independent charity evaluator. Since 2001, the organization has been an unbiased and trusted source of information for more than 11 million donors annually.

Gifford Youth Achievement Center, a 501(c)(3), opened its doors in 1998 on a mission to enhance the academic experience of underserved youth in Indian River County. Twenty-five years later, GYAC continues to offer year-round educational programs for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition, GYAC provides activities for adults and seniors.
