RCMA receives grant from United Way Indian River for early learning and family support services

IMMOKALEE (July 11, 2023) – RCMA received a grant for $55,800 from the Board of Directors of United Way Indian River County. The funds will be dedicated to enhancing the organization’s Early Learning and Family Support Services. RCMA operates three child Development Centers in the County, the Children’s House Child Development Center in Vero Beach, the Whispering Pines Child Development Center, and Robert G. Covill Child Development Center, both located in Fellsmere.

“We are very grateful to the United Way Indian River County for their generosity,” said Isabel Garcia, Executive Director at RCMA. “United Way consistently represents the community in an exemplary fashion, and I am constantly impressed with how they continually assess and seek solutions to the needs of the community. Their generous gift will help us continue to meet the needs of the children and families we serve.”

RCMA is Florida’s largest nonprofit provider of early childhood education, with 65 child development centers in 21 counties. Established in 1965 and headquartered in Immokalee, RCMA has a $98 million budget and 1,600 employees.
