VERO BEACH, FL – June 5, 2023 – On Sunday, June 18, McKee Botanical Garden will offer free admission to all fathers (fathers, stepfathers, fathers-in-law, grandfathers, and great grandfathers) with any paid admission to the Garden in celebration of Father’s Day. Come and explore the many wonders of McKee.
This year honor Dad with the gift of nature. Nothing says “we love and appreciate you” more than a day of nature and a leisurely stroll through the majestic pathways of McKee while spending time with family. “A walk through the Garden is a great way to show Dad how much you appreciate him while enjoying nature at the same time,” stated McKee Executive Director Christine Hobart.
Enjoy our current exhibition Playing with Gravity by Adam Conard. Playing with Gravity has never been seen and features stone balances created at the masterly level intended to inspire one to believe in the unbelievable. An ancient art form with prehistoric origins predating 2D cave paintings, balancing and stacking stone is considered one of the very earliest art forms. Staking stones has become popular, however, performed as an art form at the mastery level is extremely rare. The sculptures in this exhibit are true balances; no glue or other attachments of any kind are used. Visit ZOTOart.com.
Garden Hours: Tuesday – Saturday (10 am – 5 pm), Sunday (Noon – 5 pm). Last admission ticket sold at 4 pm. The Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm.
Admission: $15 Adults, $13 Seniors (65+)/Youth (13-17), Children (2-12). McKee members and children under 2 free.
