NEW LOCATION FOR BURGERS & BREWS

Summertime brings to mind lazy summer days, the sizzle of burgers on the grill and for Vero Beach, Burgers & Brews – An American Heritage Celebration festival hosted by United Against Poverty (UP).

Proceeds from the event benefit the transformative programs at UP of Indian River County that inspire and empower those living in poverty to lift themselves and their families to economic self-sufficiency.

The festival runs from 2 to 7 p.m. June 24 in the Oaks Area at Riverside Park and offers something for everyone. In addition to the burger competition, there will be Florida craft beer sampling, a car show, a VIP Lounge, live music on the CW Willis Family Farms stage, and a kid’s and game zone so you can party with a purpose all in one location.

The Slider Tasting Punch Card includes five sliders from the burger competition for $20/advance and $25/at the event. Enjoy unlimited samples of Florida craft beer for $40/advance and $45/at the event. For those wanting the VIP treatment, the VIP Access Pass, for $100, offers air-cooled seating, a slider tasting punch card, a beer sampling wristband, private restrooms, and refreshments.

Much fun will be had in the Kids and Game Zone, sponsored by Michael and Linda Rusciano, Florida Blue, and Exchange Club of Vero Beach, with bounce houses and giant lawn games! Enjoy corn hole, giant horseshoes, giant beer pong, and more!
