Callbacks will also be held on May 11. To audition, just show up. However, if you have skills and theater know-how, do the following: Bring a resume and headshot (not required). Wear clothes that allow you to move. You don’t have to prepare a dance, but you will be taught a short combination to perform. For vocal auditions, it is suggested you practice with the backing track, which you can find at YouTube.com/watch?v=ZQ5cF562e3Q. You can find links to various character songs by visiting VeroBeachTheatreGuild.com, then clicking on Actors, go to the drop-down menu and click on Auditions. From there, you can find a tab for a PDF containing the links. Even those auditioning only for a dancing part will be asked to sing. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” runs July 21 to Aug. 6 and will be directed by Michael Naffziger, music directed by Greg Harris and choreographed by Beth Shestak. The Vero Beach Theatre Guild is at 2020 San Juan Ave., Vero Beach. Call 772-562-8300 or visit VeroBeachTheatreGuild.com.
