Following Easter services at Pathway Church, Sunday, April 9, some 1,000 happy parishioners enjoyed a full breakfast courtesy of Dignity Catering, the culinary arm of The Source for the poor and homeless in Vero Beach.
Served directly out of the Pathway Church kitchen and totally prepared by Dignity Catering, volunteers, a combination of chefs, line cooks, staff, culinary students and board members, served the group biscuits and gravy, a french toast casserole with sausage, as well as cereal, orange juice and their popular fruit parfaits.
“This was a total pleasure for all of to come out as one group to be a part of this holiday morning feast,” commented lead Chef Toni Moore. “Not only did everyone enjoy the food, but the experience for our Dining with Dignity culinary students was extraordinary. They were able to share a holiday with a community of appreciative people and hone their customer service skills in a big way.”
