The majority of Pat’s grant writing experience is with local, not State or Federal funding. Her Indian River County grant applications ($5K – $94K) have earned local agencies $809,700 over 10 years. Three additional grants resulted in Impact 100 awards of $100,000 each (Camp Haven and the Veterans Council of Indian River County) for a total of over $1.1M.

Since 2013 she has worked for the Veterans Council of Indian River County in various capacities (currently as grant writer). She also recently started part-time with the Feed the Lambs Enrichment Program (business infrastructure and grant writing for a disadvantaged youth tutoring program and summer camp).

In Pat’s 26-year AT&T career, she progressed through middle management to Vice President.  On retirement in 1996, she became a small business owner (Career Services) for 20 years.  During that time she was trained in emergency services, working as a FEMA Community Relations Officer during major hurricane disasters and as Director of a Katrina shelter.

Pat has a BA in Math and Psychology and an MBA.
