Anthony R. Wysocki, 88, of Vero Beach Florida, died on Saturday March 18,2023. He was born to the late Anthony J. and Viola Wysocki on May 24,1934 and grew up in South Deerfield Massachusetts. He graduated from Deerfield Academy in 1953 and received a BA in Business
Administration from the University of Massachusetts in 1957.
He married Genevieve Miffitt in 1961 and they lived in Chicopee MA. They later retired and moved to Vero Beach Florida in 1987. Tony was an avid golfer, enjoyed taking cruises and loved Polka music and dancing.
Tony is survived by his wife Genevieve and children, Jonathan of Fairfax VA and David of Boston MA.
A Graveside Service will be held at Crestlawn Cemetery at 2:30pm on Wednesday March 22.

Mary Jean Lane, 98, Vero Beach
December 7, 1924 – March 18, 2023
Mary Jean Lane, 98, of Vero Beach, Florida passed from this life on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Jean was born December 7, 1924 in Cincinnati. She met and married her surviving husband of 78 years Frank (101) there and raised their children Gary “Rocky” Sr. (Kathy) Cincinnati, Tim(Betsy) Columbus, OH, and Michelle(Tamara Ostling) Milwaukee, WI. Jean was a successful business women in her own right working until her retirement from Winegardner-Hammons. Moving to Vero Beach in the early 2000’s to the Vista Plantation community where she had the honor and joy of being a strong member of the HOA board.
She is survived by her 3 children (as above), 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Gary Lane, Jr.(Twilla) of Cincinnati , Ohio; Shawn Wampler(Nikki) parents of Kendall and Logan of Nocatee, Florida; Clayton Wampler of Colorado; Anna Rigano(Chris) parents of Samantha and Andrew of Marysville, Ohio; and Jeffrey Lane (Lauren) of Cincinnati.
Jean was proceeded in death by her parents father Joseph and mother Emma; brother Charles; and sister Lillian Knust Durham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church 2000 20th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960 on Thursday March 23 at 12pm. There is no planned visitation. There will be a private interment at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.

Rodney O. Benson, 85, Fort Pierce
December 4, 1937 – February 26, 2023
Rodney O. Benson, 85 of Fort Pierce, Florida died peacefully while sleeping on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
Rodney was born to the late Charles O. Benson and Margaret (Green) Benson on December 4, 1937, in Columbus Ohio.
Rodney married Betty L. Williams on July 17, 1963. They lived in Grove City Ohio until May of 1999 and then moved to Fort Pierce, Florida.
Rodney was a dental technician, dental technician supervisor, and owner of Capital Dental Lab. He began his career in Dental Labs while in Columbus, Ohio before landing at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he retired in 1997.
Rodney loved family, friends and his fury dog mates. He enjoyed American history, especially the Civil War and Confederate Army. Many summer vacations were spent hiking through Civil War battlefields as Rodney would describe in detail the battles, their causes and the lives lost in each. Rodney also enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing, camping, boating and golf. He always included family in these activities and made amazing friendships while golfing with the Spanish Lakes Fairways Golf Club.
He had a great sense of humor and was always a pleasure to be around. Rodney was baptized according to the Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in September of 1955. Before his passing he attended The Crossings Community Church in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Rodney is survived by this loving wife Betty of 60 years, his three children Valinda Mook (late Richard Mook) of Port Orange, Florida, Michael Benson of Fort Pierce, Florida and Anthony Benson of Fort Mill, South Carolina.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren of which two sets are twins, 5 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Rodney was deeply loved and will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 2-4 pm at the Spanish Lakes Fairways Club house.

Sharon L. Burke (nee Vastola), 80, Barefoot Bay
April 10, 1942 – March 3, 2023
Sharon L. Burke (nee Vastola), of Barefoot Bay, FL entered into rest on March 3rd, 2023. Loving wife to Michael W. Burke for 63 years. Devoted mother to her late son Michael Anthony (Robyn) Burke, and surviving children Patrick (Rebecca) Burke, daughter Renee (David) Mahoney, and son Christopher Burke. Cherished grandmother to Brendan Mahoney, Michael Norman Burke, Julia Burke, Bailey Burke, and great granddaughter Lilith Mahoney. Dear sister-in-law to Maureen (Charles) Kurz. Beloved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Predeceased by her sister Carol Petricca, and her parents Henry and Antoinette Vastola.
Born in Buffalo, NY. Graduated from Baker Victory H.S. and attended Villa Maria College. Retired teacher, in 1987, from Queen of Heaven Catholic School in West Seneca, NY. Went on to build a second career with the Indian River County Sheriff’s office and retired in 2007.
Parishioner at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian, FL (13075 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958) is where a funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 21st at 11:00 AM in celebration of her life.

Deborah Lee Schneider, 72

Deborah Lee Schneider, 72, passed away on March 5th 2023 in Sebastian, Florida.
Born on May 28th 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Byron Hohrein Jr and Evelyn (Larrimer) Hohrein. She graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1968. Deborah was employed at Anne Arundel County Public Library in Annapolis, Maryland and also NSA in Fort Meade, Maryland. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her dogs.
Deborah is survived by her children, Steven Schneider (Dana) and Rebecca Risher; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 8 sisters, 1 brother, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Phyllis Bowman Keith, 89, Sebastian
December 1, 1933 – February 27, 2023
Phyllis Bowman Keith, 89, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away Monday February 27, 2023 peacefully in her sleep at The Promenade Assisted Living. She was born in Grafton, West Virginia on December 1, 1933, the daughter of the late Roy Z. Burnside and Audree Manley Burnside. She was a resident of Sebastian since 2002 after moving from Boca Raton, FL.
Phyllis graduated from Grafton High School in 1951 and moved to Washington, D.C. with her twin sister Patricia (Pat) to work with the FBI. In 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, William (Bill) Farley Bowman, Jr. and moved to Florida where they had their two daughters. She worked at First Bank and Trust (Bank of America) Boca Raton and retired as Vice President of Private Banking in 1991.
She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sebastian and served in many church volunteer roles including the church Thrift Shop. She served on several HOA Boards, most recently as Treasurer, while living at Reflections on the River in Sebastian where she played Bridge, Mahjong, and coordinated events at the clubhouse. She enjoyed serving her community and touched the lives of those around her.
Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Bowman Finley of Alpharetta, GA and Joy Bowman Thomas (Scott) of Clayton, NC; four grandchildren, Nicole Finley Payne (Braden), Justin William Finley, Morgan Elizabeth Thomas, Mary Joan Thomas; two sisters, Dorothy Wildey of Vero Beach, FL, and Patricia Adkins of Grafton, WV; three stepchildren, Dr. Robert E. Keith. Jr. (Diane) of Auburn, AL, Thomas S. Keith (Tatiana) of Pensacola, FL, and Janis Martin (Jerry) of DeBary, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. Bowman, Jr. and her second husband, Robert E. Keith, Sr. and her three sisters, Ada Bell, Ellen Tingler and Mary Deakins.
A family graveside service will be held on March 31, 2023. She will be laid to rest beside her first husband, Bill, in Woodsdale Memorial Park, Grafton, WV.
