On February 11th, at the Oak Harbor Country Club, the Treasure Coast Jazz Society presents Gary Haase “A Jazz Journey” as part of their 2023 Concert Season

Gary Haase will perform A Jazz Journey from Acoustic to Electric accompanied by Brad Hatfield an accomplished keyboardist and pianist along with drummer Hosney Franck who is a regular performer with Ft. Pierce Jazz and Blues Society.

Known in the industry as a quadruple treat, Gary Haase is a musician, composer, producer and recording artist. Breaking onto the New York music scene in his early twenties, Gary began working with jazz giants. Buddy Rich, Red Rodney, Bucky Pizzarelli, while building a career  as a studio musician. At twenty five, Gary began a long career working with Chaka Khan, first as bassist, then music director and then producer.  During this fruitful period Gary wrote and produced for everyone from Celine Dion ,Hall and Oates, and Michael Bolton to Patti LaBelle, Maxwell and Earth, Wind and Fire. Always keeping a foothold in jazz, Gary continued his work with Grover Washington Jr. Ramsey Lewis, George Benson, Chaka Khan and Cy Coleman. Currently Gary still wears many hats, dividing time between writing, producing and performing. In addition Gary is a signed recording artist with GPR Records, and oversees various projects. His new release is called Classical Jazz. Here Mr. Haase has taken classical themes and performed them in ‘non classical styles’.

Brad Hatfield , pianist, has added his unique sound to a wide variety of genres and has performed with many diverse artists -Aretha Franklin, Yo Yo Ma, the Boston Pops, James Taylor and many more.
