Scott William Meredith, 61, Vero Beach
August 23, 1961 – November 18, 2022
Scott William Meredith, 61, passed away at home in Vero Beach, Florida, on November 18, 2022.Scott was born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated from Cook College Rutgers University in 1984 with a degree in marketing. He called Lavallette, New Jersey, home for 32 years before relocating to Vero Beach in 2016.
He was a notable realtor with Sotheby’s International Realty for eleven years. Previously, he was the co-owner of Wavejammer Surf Shop, a Jersey shore staple for locals and vacationers alike, from its opening in 1985 to 2012.
A true beach lover at heart, Scott enjoyed surfing and long days on the sand soaking up the sun with friends and family. He also enjoyed photography, specifically ocean sunrises on morning walks and capturing candid family moments. His interest in exploring the world also fueled his passion for food and wine collecting, which he loved to share with others. Scott was an incredibly kind person and always put others before himself, going to great lengths to ensure everyone was happy – whether through getting everyone fresh baked goods for breakfast, or making sure all glasses were full.
Scott is survived by his wife Karen Meredith, son Kyle and daughter-in-law Rebecca Meredith, sister Carol Meredith Smith, and brother Glenn and sister-in-law AnnMarie Meredith.
He was predeceased by his parents Alan A Meredith and Doris J Meredith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Timothy E. Ryan Funeral Home on Saint Catherine Boulevard in Toms River, NJ.

Lauren M. Mancuso, age 66, passed away December 1, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital.
She was born in Huntington, New York on September 24, 1956, and moved to Vero Beach in 2000, coming from East Northport, New York.
Lauren was a loving housewife who cared for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel; son, Kurt; and grandchildren, Madeline and Charlotte.
She was predeceased by her daughters, Rebecca, Jessica, and Kimberly.

Carol (Rogers) Marvin, 79, Vero Beach
August 21, 1943 – December 03, 2022
Carol (Rogers) Marvin, 79, passed away early Saturday morning, December 3, 2022, after a period of declining health.
She was born in Plymouth, New Hampshire, the youngest of three children of Gideon and Ethel (Smith) Rogers of New Hampton, N.H. Carol was a 1961 graduate of Bristol High School and was attending a Post-graduate school in Concord, New Hampshire, when she met Addison L. Marvin, Jr., an Air Force Officer and Pilot.
They were married on July 21, 1962, following her graduation. They began life together at Keesler AFB, Mississippi, and added to the family as Addison moved from base to base following his career, finally ending up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Carol, while not keen on moving, accepted the challenge and created a new home at each new assignment. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother to her children, and a confidant to her grandchildren. While traveling from base to base, Carol took an interest in floral arranging, ultimately becoming a Certified Flower Show Judge. Carol enjoyed their yacht and cruising along the northeastern seaboard. She was active in both the Portsmouth Yacht Club and the Portsmouth Navy Yacht Club and served as Commodore of each.
Carol also worked as a Travel Agent for several organizations, including Penny Pitou Travel and AAA. In February of 2004, she and her husband retired to Waterford Lakes, a small community of Vero Beach, Florida. Here her interest in flowers returned as she became interested in Orchids. She became a member of the Vero Beach Orchid Society and ran the Society’s Annual Orchid Show for two years.
Carol is survived by her husband, Addison Jr,: her children, Addison, III and Shirley Marvin-Lambert; daughter-in-law, Melissa (Wunderly); grandchildren, Sydney and Heather; and brother, Kenneth Rogers.
A Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach with Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland of Community Church, Vero Beach officiating.
Interment will be at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022.

Jeffrey Alan Infante, 53, Vero Beach
January 29, 1969 – December 04, 2022
Jeffrey Alan Infante, age 53, passed away tragically on December 4th, 2022 in Winter Beach, Fl.
Jeff was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Sandra and Dominic Infante. He resided in Windemere prior to moving to Vero Beach, Florida in July of 2021.
He attended Kent State University where he earned his master’s degree.
Jeff worked for 23 years at the Oracle Computer Software Company as a Senior Principle Solutions Developer (Hospitality Cloud).
Jeff’s passions were Harley Davidson motorcycles, Motocross #712, weight lifting, computer technology, cigars, and spending time with his children and family. He single handedly funded Harley Davidson and local cigar stores in the area.
Survivors include his loving wife Jennifer Infante; children Aaron, Spencer, Cameron, Caitlin and Joey Infante; mother Sandra Infante; sister Laura Peters (Geoffrey); dog Milo; cat Moon; Harley Davidson Mupy; six nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members.
Jeff was predeceased by his father Dominic Infante.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helens Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at 10:00 am with the internment to immediately follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.

Donna Belmonte- Sleasman, 64, Vero Beach
May 29, 1958 – November 04, 2022
Donna Belmonte- Sleasman gained her angel wings on November 04, 2022 at the Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida after a brief illness. Donna was 64 years old.
Donna’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here on earth.
Donna was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of love and gave with all her heart. Not a day went by where Donna didn’t talk about how much her grandchildren and daughter meant to her — her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.
Donna is survived by her loving husband Randy Sleasman, her daughter Mary Taibl, her grandchildren Jayda Phillips, Sean Phillips and Aubrey Lord. Donna is also survived by her sisters Georgia Dillon (Rob), Christi Gerner (Roger), Kim Belmonte, Kerry Egan and Stephanie LaMotta. Donna also leaves behind two brothers Ken Egan, Ed Egan and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Donna was predeceased by her parents Sandra Templeton and Anthony Belmonte, two brothers Anthony George Belmonte and James Belmonte.
Services are still being organized, but will be held in Vero Beach on Saturday January 7, 2023. Please contact the family for details.

Ludin Aquino, age 63, passed away December 2, 2022 at Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches.
He was born in Jalapa, Guatemala to the late Rafael and Sara (Vasquez) Aquino.
Mr. Aquino was very talented. He was a carpenter and painter all of his life. He was a member of Pathway Church of Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Aquino; son, Ludin Aquino, Jr., brother, Gustavo Aquino; and sisters, Alicia and Ana Aquino.

Elmer John Beidler, 95, Vero Beach
January 17, 1927 – December 13, 2022
Elmer John Beidler, known as John, passed away December 13, 2022, in Vero Beach. He was born in Orlando on January 17, 1927, to Agnes Grace (Holt) and Elmer John Beidler, Sr.
He left Orlando High School during his senior year to enlist in the U.S. Navy during World War II, where he served as a hospital corpsman in the Bethesda Naval Hospital. He attended the University of Florida and earned a degree in entomology in 1950.
In 1955, he moved to Vero Beach to become the director of the Indian River Mosquito Control District, where he served the residents of the county for 48 years, focused on finding effective mosquito control methods while respecting environmental and economic concerns. A past president of the Florida Mosquito Control Association, he received that association’s Maurice W. Provost Memorial Award and the Meritorious Service Award, as well as the Medal of Honor and Meritorious Service Award from the American Mosquito Control Association. In 2003, he was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Florida. Throughout his career, John always welcomed new ideas and enjoyed sharing knowledge and camaraderie within the entomological community. He was a friend and mentor to several generations of mosquito control workers.
A few of his activities in the local community included service as a director of the Indian River County Library, membership in the Rotary Club, donating gallons to the local blood bank, and unwavering support of the VBHS football team. An avid photographer with an eye for beauty, he was rarely without his camera and found photo opportunities wherever he went, creating an extensive portfolio primarily of the natural world. His other great love was music, and his collection of LPs and CDs ran from classical to calypso, opera to jazz, and J.S. Bach to Dire Straits.
He will be remembered for his kindness, keen intelligence, quiet generosity, and devotion to his family.
He was predeceased by his wife, Iris, and is survived by his children Barbara Kendrick (Tom), Melissa Beidler, Susan Beidler, Amy Gramling (Hugh), and Grant Beidler (Renee), and grandchildren John Mistry and Cierra Iris Beidler.

Robert Gerlaugh, 95, Vero Beach
December 31, 1926 – December 11, 2022
Robert Gerlaugh, age 95, passed away on December 11, 2022, at his home in Vero Beach, Florida.
He was born on December 31, 1926, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Howard and Mary Gerlaugh.
Robert grew up in Columbus, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and earned his doctorate from the University of Louisville Medical School, followed by residencies at the University of Pennsylvania and at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
He served in the United States Navy in WWII and as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
Robert was a physician for 28 years in Glen Ridge, New Jersey and in Miami and Ocala, Florida. Prior to his retirement, Dr. Gerlaugh worked in the Hialeah Hospital in Miami as an Anesthesiologist and as Chief of Staff.
Robert was predeceased by his wife, Natalie Ellis (Bloom) Gerlaugh and his brother, Howard Gerlaugh. He is survived by his children: Robert Gerlaugh of Lake Wales, Florida, John Gerlaugh of Austin, Texas, and Mary Delaney of Brunswick, Maine.
Per Robert’s wishes, services will be private.
