Lester “Mac” Thompson, 80, Vero Beach
April 05, 1942 – November 01, 2022
Mac, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 1st at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mac was an outstanding entrepreneur achieving success in many of his business endeavors. One of his highest achievements was being appointed Secretary of Finance for the State of Kentucky. He was a founding member of the Jaycees; as well as, an active member in the Kiwanis Club in Sturgis, Kentucky. Mac served in the Air Force with duty in Turkey and California. He was a graduate of Owensboro Senior High in Owensboro, Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. One of Mac’s greatest joys was taking his family on trips to the many places he visited.
Mac is survived by his wife of 57 years Roberta Sue “Bobbi” (Fischer) Thompson of Vero Beach, his daughter Lesley Thompson of Crested Butte, Colorado, daughter Lara (Ahmad) Thompson of Boston, Massachusetts, son Mac (Jessica) Thompson of Louisville, Kentucky and daughter Amanda (Adam) Dombroski of Vero Beach; as well as, five grandchildren: Sabrina Alayan, Loren Dombroski, Ali Alayan, Yasmine Alayan and Sherrie Dombroski. Also surviving are his brother Harry E. Thompson of Evansville, Indiana and his niece Sherrie Hamilton of Lexington, Kentucky.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents Lester O. Thompson and his mother Gertrude (Embry) Siebert; as well as, his sister Mary Lou Thompson Jolly.
A private Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 5th, from 2pm to 4pm.

William D. James, 89, Vero Beach
July 17, 1933 – November 02, 2022
William D. James passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2022, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Fl.
William was a beloved husband, father, and son. He practiced in the course of miracles and became a very successful broker in the packaging industry. William was an avid reader and enjoyed a variety of sports from racquetball to tennis and football.
Survivors include his loving wife Joy of 30 years and daughter Ruth Ann Omealia. William was predeceased by his parents William and Adele James; and his son William James.
He was a very kind man and will be missed by all that knew him.

Kimberly Ruth Williams, 57, Vero Beach
August 25, 1965 – September 30, 2022
Kimberly Ruth Williams, age 57, passed away peacefully on September 30th, 2022 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida.
Kimberly was born in Vero Beach, Florida to John and Mae Williams. She grew up in Johnston, South Carolina before returning home. Kimberly worked at The Burton Center for 38 years.
She attended Strom Thurmond High School graduating in the Class of 1981 and was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Johnston, South Carolina.
Survivors include brother Ernest Williams and wife Lena Williams. Kimberly was predeceased by her parents John and Mae Williams; brother John Williams Jr.; and sisters Brenda Sowers, Karen Beatenbough, Jeanette Horton.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 12th, 2022, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home in Johnston, South Carolina.

Richard Arthur Byram, 87, Vero Beach
March 09, 1935 – November 06, 2022
Richard (Sailboat Dick) Byram passed away November 6, 2022, in Vero Beach, FL.
He was raised in Morris Plains, N.J. He worked 32 years for N.J. Bell Telephone Co. as a Repairman. He had four sons with his first wife Carolyn. Jody, Arthur, Matthew and Robert along with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He enjoyed raising his family on a small farm in Booton Township, N.J.
He served his country for two years in the Army Signal Corp. He retired in 1985 to live on his catamaran sailboat (Free Spirt). He married his present wife, Patricia at the Vero Beach City Marina in 1988 while living abroad. They sailed the Bahamas extensively. He had a deep passion for all types of fishing. Crossbow hunting for Tilapia in the canals, west of Vero Beach, was his real passion. Bicycling was a daily event.
He was a musician, playing guitar and singing. He loved singing old time country music in the assisted living facilities and nursing homes in and around Vero Beach. He was a dedicated and grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 45 years, where he found the lord.
Per his wishes, there will be no Memorial Service.

Anne T. Haskins, 84, Vero Beach
July 26, 1938 – November 05, 2022
Anne T. Haskins, age 84, passed away November 5, 2022, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
She was born July 26, 1938, in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Felix and Eva Mae Taylor. She moved from Ohio to Sebastian, Florida.
Anne was a graduate of Indian River State College. She was an Oncology Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic, formerly Indian River Memorial Hospital and she was a Nursing Supervisor at Sebastian River Medical Center and Indian River Memorial Hospital. She retired after 20 years of serving families.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Gale; grandchildren, Nicole Winterfeld, Julie Hewitt, Renee Hooper, and Jonathan Haskins; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Talamantez and brother, Robert Taylor.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ben Haskins and son, Steven Haskins and four sisters.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13th at 1557 Pleasantview Lane, Sebastian, FL 32958.

Lynn Beadle Sinclair, 87, Vero Beach
April 28, 1935 – November 05, 2022
Lynn Beadle Sinclair passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022 in Vero Beach, Florida. She was 87 years old.
Lynn was born on April 28, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John Grant Beadle and Katharine Brady Beadle of Lake Forest, Illinois. She was a graduate of Bennett College in Millbrook, New York.
Lynn was a member of Indian River Club in Vero Beach where she and her husband, Bob, lived and golfed for 23 years. Prior to living in Vero Beach, they resided in Bayside and Mequon, Wisconsin where they raised their three daughters, and spent their summers “up-north” in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Ferguson Sinclair; daughters Shelley Sinclair Thimgan (Bill) of Scottsdale, AZ; Sheila Sinclair Martinson (Don) of Longmont, CO; and Laurie Sinclair Lutz (Ed) of Mendham, NJ; grandchildren Slade Sinclair Lutz, Allie Catherine Lutz, Pierce Edward Lutz and Grace Katharine Martinson; as well as her dear brother John Grant Beadle, also of Vero Beach.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 4:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach, 520 Royal Palm Blvd, Vero Beach.
