THE TREASURE COAST CHORALE INVITES YOU TO “SHALL WE DANCE”, A VOCAL CONCERT, PERFORMED ON NOVEMBER 6
Vero Beach, FL – The public is invited to add the Treasure Coast Chorale to their dance card as they perform a variety of dance songs in their next exciting concert on Sunday, November 6th at 4 p.m. at their regular venue, the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach. Called “Shall We Dance,” the performance will recognize dance expressions through songs such as the medley “Dance Evolution”, which includes songs such as “The Twist”, Cotton Eye Joe” and “YMCA”.
Other songs include sacred dance numbers such as Handel’s “Praise the Lord” and Sydney Carter’s “Lord of the Dance”, story songs such as “Mr. Bojangles”, and movie songs such as the energizing “Joyful, Joyful” from “Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.”
Your toes will also be tapping to songs like “Save the Last Dance for Me”, “I Won’t Dance” and Dizzy Gillespie’s “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).
This performance by the 45-voice TCC will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach. As always, the performance will be free. There will be an opportunity to give a donation to assist this community chorus to produce three exciting concerts a year to our Treasure Coast audiences. Upcoming performances are “Food Glorious Food” on March 12 and “All That Jazz” on May 7. TCC members will join in the annual Handel’s Messiah Concert which will be performed on December 18th.
Some talented special guests have been invited to perform this musical performance including guitarist Dave Mundy, drummer Richie Mola, and the Dolls, Vero’s popular oldies trio. Piano accompaniment will be provided by Judy Carter.
Doors at the church will open for early seating at 3 p.m. for the matinee performance.
