Premier Estate Properties Vero office grew rapidly over the summer as company co-owners Joseph Liguori, Gerard Liguori and Carmen D’Angelo Jr. push to expand their market share on the island “exponentially.”

In the past two months, the company has added six agents to its boutique office at the intersection of A1A and Beachland Boulevard, hiring several notable island brokers along with a luxury agent from Martha’s Vineyard who’s also an interior designer.

One of the new agents co-owned a top island brokerage for many years and another is an award-winning amateur golfer.

The first new hires were Jane Schwiering and Lucy Hendricks, longtime luxury specialists who teamed up six years ago. According to Premier, “they have represented the purchase or sale of oceanfront and intracoastal properties, estate enclaves, country club communities, acreage and high-end condominiums [and] … Their in-depth knowledge of the Vero Beach community enables them to guide buyers toward the finest properties available – including many off market or just listed – and helps sellers to maximize return on investment. Skilled at building relationships and closing sales, they share a national roster of repeat clients.”

Schwiering was the longtime co-owner of Norris & Company Real Estate, which continues as a prominent island brokerage after being acquired by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida.

Hendricks has served as a director of the Realtors Association of Indian River County and been named Realtor of the Year in Indian River County.

“Jane and Lucy are as driven as we are to offer clients personal concierge service unparalleled in our industry,” said Joe Liguori. “They exemplify our commitment to specialized expertise and results-driven performance.”

“Premier Estate Properties occupies a unique place in Vero Beach real estate, with state-of-the art resources for serving clients,” Hendricks said. “We are impressed with the boutique nature of the brokerage, its million dollar-plus specialization, outstanding track record in Vero Beach, and crystal clear commitment to excellence.”

Other new Premier agents include Allison Ritter, who joined the Kay Brown team, one of the top luxury teams on the island; second and third generation Realtors Barbara and Courtney Dietrich; and Lisa Pyden, who comes here after a 14-year career as a luxury realtor and interior designer on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, which are prime feeder markets for Vero.

According to Premier, the Dietrichs are “artistic by nature and entrepreneurial in spirit. They share a strong background in fashion, years of sales success, expansive connections with Florida’s elite golf and tennis communities, an uncanny ability to reimagine a residence, and a passion Vero Beach real estate.”

Florida State University fine arts grad Courtney Dietrich arrives at Premier’s island office after a go-go career working as a professional model with Ford Models, an assistant golf pro at Piping Rock, golf shop manager at Windsor, and as an account executive for both Ralph Lauren and Johnnie-O.

Educated at the University of California, Irvine, and the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, Pyden is “highly effective at imagining new construction and reimagining existing properties to maximize return on investment,” according to Premier.

“Working in luxury real estate on the exclusive summer island retreats of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, she acquired an in-depth understanding of the desires and negotiating style or Northeast buyers who like to winter in Florida, as well as an extensive roster of clients from the Northeast and abroad.”

When Premier lost several top agents earlier this year, Joe Liguori told Vero Beach 32969 that the company remained fully committed to the Vero Beach market and intended to expand operations here.

“We see an opportunity for exponential growth in the Vero office,” he said. “Our unparalleled marketing and advertising will continue and increase and we plan to grow our market share.”

The six new agents are evidence of the company’s intentions on the island – and the hiring may not be over.

“There is now a total of 12 top-tier agents at the Vero office with opportunity for several more,” Liguori said last week.

Founded in 1993 in Boca Raton, Premier Estate Properties operates out of six offices on the east coast of Florida, including the Vero office, which opened in 2008.

With fewer than 50 agents, the company doubled its sales volume between 2020 and 2021 and tripled it in the past three years, from $1 billion in 2019 to $3.1 billion last year.

“We are extremely enthusiastic about opening the door to this exciting professional opportunity,” said Schwiering, speaking for herself and Hendricks – and most likely the other new hires as well.
