We all want freedom from something. Many of us have some type of recovery journey or have been touched by someone else’s journey. Join us for a beautiful Saturday run & walk along the ocean as we celebrate recovery journeys, and raise money to continue inspiring FREEDOM from substance misuse in Indian River County.
When: Saturday, October 1, 2022 7:30am Race Start
Where: South Beach Park, 1702 Ocean Drive, Vero Beach
What: Annual 5K Run/Walk
Why: This event helps support the Substance Awareness Center’s prevention, treatment and recovery support programs, including School Based Prevention Programs taught to all IRC 6th – 9th grade students!
This year we are inviting people to bring together friends, teams, and families with kids to have a great day as a community and celebrate the idea:
“I am free to….”
i.e. Live one day at a time, make today better than yesterday, start fresh, make healthy choices, take the next step in my journey, to be me, to show up….
Participant Fees:
⮚ Adults: $30 in advance
⮚ Child (12 & under): $15 in advance
⮚ Team: $20 per runner in advance (Minimum 4 Participants)
