Ivory N. Kizzy Jr., 47, Vero Beach
May 07, 1975 – August 22, 2022
Ivory N. Kizzy Jr., born on May 7th, 1975, in Fresno, California to Jean Young and Ivory Kizzy Sr., passed away at the age of 47 on August 22, 2022 at his home in Vero Beach after a challenging battle with cancer.
Ivory was a hardworking man and provider. He retired from Property Management & Lawncare after owning his own business for 12 years. He spent many years volunteering for the Recreation Department in Vero Beach where he volunteered as a Basketball Coach. He was a passionate and encouraging Coach who cared deeply for his students.
If there is one thing to know and remember about Ivory, is that he loved boating and fishing. This is when he was one with earth. He loved to fish and boasted with pride on a great catch of the day, although every day fishing was a great day, he never spent a bad day fishing.
Ivory is survived by his Wife, Michelle Kizzy; Sons, Ivory Kizzy III (27), Avery Kizzy (25), Aubry Kizzy (14); Daughters, Lakresha Kizzy (30), Ebony Kizzy (23); Grandchildren, Tranell Kizzy, Steve Perez, Demarko Allen, Mar’laya Kizzy; Sisters, Wanda Sanders, Samantha Burton; Brother Wanell Sanders; many nieces & nephews and extended family.
Ivory was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He will forever be missed.

Miguel “Mike” Angel Lopez, 90, Vero Beach
July 05, 1932 – August 24, 2022
Miguel “Mike” Angel Lopez, age 90, of Vero Beach, passed away on August 24, 2022, at VNA Hospice House.
He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Mike, SFC U.S. Army, entered military service in 1952, right after basic infantry training. He was sent to Ft. Benning, GA for parachute training as he requested and was assigned to the 11th Airborne Division. Three years later he went to Europe and served in 3 different infantry units. Upon his return home Mike joined the Special Forces and retired from the 10th Special Forces as a Senior NCO. He attended many special training schools.
Mike was a member of the 82nd Airborne for 1 year after which he attended the Special Warfare Center for 1 ½ years. Upon graduation he was assigned to the 7th Special Forces in Central America and started with the newly formed 8th Special Forces in Panama serving for 7 years.
Mike completed 2 tours in Vietnam with the 5th Special Forces where he was wounded 4 times and was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” device, a Purple Heart, and 8 other citations and commendations.
Following his retirement from the military in 1973, Mike became the owner and operator of Mike’s Auto Service Center for over ten years.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
Mike is survived by his loving wife Victoria “Vicky”, children Rose (David) Bland, Michael (Adis) Lopez, five grandchildren Michael (Adriana) and Julianne Bland, Gianna and Michael Lopez, and Albert Piniero, two great-grandchildren Isabelle and Brayden Bland. Mike was also survived by his beloved Labrador, Sophie.
He was predeceased by his parents Demetrio and Maria Lopez, two sisters and a brother.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, September 1st, at St. John of the Cross, Vero Beach, with burial, on Friday, September 2nd, at 10 a.m., at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.

Eleanor (Ellie) Coughlin, 90, Peoria, Arizona
September 7, 1931 – August 15, 2022
Eleanor (Ellie) Coughlin, 90, of Peoria, Arizona passed away on August 15, 2022. She is predeceased by her loving husband Donald (Don) Coughlin, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage. She is also predeceased by her parents Alexander Zaleski and Susan Motil Zaleski as well as 4 sisters and 3 brothers; Mary Motil Perillo Karkoska, Helen Coveleski, Veronica Holodnack, Albert Zaleski, Henryk Zaleski, Zenon Zaleski, and Constance Zaleski. She is survived by her sister Bernadine Zaleski Tabary of Peoria, AZ as well as 7 nieces- Denise Tabary, Annette Tabary Griffin, Sharon Hough Glashauser, Christine Zaleski Milewski, Donna Zaleski, Barbara Coveleski Dunbar, and Jeanette Holodnack Crans, and 1 nephew- Daniel Tabary.
Ellie was born and raised in Scranton, PA. She met her husband Don at Al’s Rose Room. Don always said that she was peeking at him from across the bar through a rack of potato chips! And so the romance began. The happy couple were married in Newark, NJ on April 29, 1961. They made their home in Milford, CT until 1996, then moved to Vero Beach, FL for their retirement years. Ellie enjoyed taking cruises, Sunday afternoon drives, and visiting with church friends, and neighbors. Ellie was an active member of Saint Helen’s Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL for 21 years.
In 2017, two years after her husband’s passing, Ellie moved to Arizona to be near her sister Bernadine and niece Denise.
Visitation will be held at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 29, 2022 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach, FL.
