Vero Beach, FL – Whistler’s Mother with a remote control and a football game on the television, a series of ornate Savannah gates and abstracts in textile display the range of art on exhibit at the Indian River County Administration Buildings A and B as part of the Art in Public Places initiative by the Cultural Council of Indian River County.

Member artists Judy Burgarella, Susan Buschmann, Merana Cadorette, Judy Chatterton, Jessica Karam, Sheila McAvoy, Gwen McNenney and Mark San Souci contributed their works as part of a general themed show on exhibit through October 5.

“With the wide range of style and subject matter, our volunteer administrators Mark Wygonik and Adam Conard do a great job of hanging the shows for the best presentation of art,” said Elise Mahovlich, administrative manager.

The art is available for public viewing during normal business hours of the Administration Buildings, 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach.
