Inge Ursula Walker, 86

May 31, 1936 – July 20, 2022

On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Inge Ursula Walker passed away peacefully in her sleep at age 86.

Inge was born on May 31, 1936 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany to the late Otto and Maria (Freidrich) Schmidt. She immigrated to the United States in 1958 with her husband, SFC Carl Walker, and they had three sons and one daughter together. Along with raising her children, her most proud achievement was gaining United States citizenship in 1963. Inge was a Lifetime Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW. She enjoyed volunteering with and cooking for her fellow comrades at the VFW and American Legion. If she wasn’t watching wrestling (Dusty Rhodes was her favorite), you could find her cooking at family gatherings, shopping, or admiring her collection of American flags, teddy bears, and angels. Inge had a big personality and never met a stranger.

Inge is survived by her sister, Margot Mahlow, of Frankfurt, Germany; sons, Carl and Clint Walker of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Tiffany Walker, Jason Hall, Travis Walker, Jennifer Walker, Nicholas Hall, Ashley Walker, and Cody Walker of Vero Beach, FL, Nichole DiBenedetto of Raleigh, NC, and Amanda Phillips of Griffin, GA. Additionally, she is survived by her 18 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild – Kaylee, Curtis III, Trinity, Serenity, Hannah, Hailey, Rachael, Myriah, Taylor, Lane, Jaeshon, Shylee, Jadarian, Ella, Mia, Melody, Anaiya, Amari, and Araya .

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Günter Schmidt and Jurgen Arheilger, daughter, Yvonne Hall, son, Curtis Walker, and grandson, Curtis Walker, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Inge’s name to the VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Susan Louise Spencer, 67, Vero Beach

January 5, 1955 – July 19, 2022

Susan Louise Spencer, 67, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was born in Binghamton, New York to the late David G. and Dorothy Eagan Spencer. A graduate of Vestal Senior High School, she spent her teenage years as a hospital volunteer. She relocated her family to Vero Beach over 25 years ago.

Susan was a faithful woman who loved gardening and the ocean but above all else she loved her family. She was known for her infectious laugh and making those around her feel loved. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her beloved brother Ray Spencer.

She is survived by her children, Mark D. Spencer (Sara Hubbard), Matthew R. Spencer, Tyler N. Spencer (Krista Spencer) and daughter Cheyenne S. Spencer (Kyle McGann); her grandchildren, Matthew Spencer Jr., Brooklyn Spencer, Olivia McGann, and Lucy Spencer all of Vero Beach; her siblings, John Spencer, Kenneth Spencer, Marie Spencer, Paul Spencer and Alice Spencer; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hibiscus Children’s Center of Indian River County, 1145 12th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

The family will be holding a private viewing for close family and friends Sunday July 24th from 2-4pm at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

Paul R. Moleski, 81, Sebastian

July 19, 2022

Sebastian, FL-Paul R. Moleski, 81 of Sebastian, passed away on July 19, 2022 in Lady Lake, FL.

He is survived by daughter Deborah (Debbie) Martin of Fayetteville, GA; sister Mary Lou Schumann of Summerfield, FL; and goddaughter Michelle Ieradi of Mt. Laurel, NJ.

He was born in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania a son of the late Anthony and Adele (Rakowski) Moleski.  He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kathryn E. (Hare) Moleski.

Paul was a Hydrological Technician for the US Geological Service. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, faithfully serving his country from 1959-1964.  Paul was an avid fisherman that also enjoyed hunting.  He enjoyed horseback riding and trail riding with his local 4H club in NJ.  He loved to travel the world with his beloved wife Kay prior to his passing.

Funeral services and burial are private. In lieu of flowers, Debbie and her family would appreciate memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in his name.
