2022 Hurricane Expo at the Indian River Mall

Save the date!  On Saturday, June 4th, the Indian River Mall will present the 18th Annual Hurricane Expo to help educate our local community about the importance of preparation & planning for the upcoming Hurricane Season.

This FREE event will include WPBF25 Meteorologists Mike Lyons and Glenn Glazer as guest speakers from 2pm-4pm.  Many local businesses and organizations will be onsite to provide information to help you prepare & answer your questions.  Come out and meet members of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Operations Center, C.E.R.T., United Way, USCG Auxiliary and more!  The Salvation Army will be on site providing burgers for the first 100 attendees, starting at Noon.  They will also hold a FREE drawing for a generator.  OneBlood will hold a blood drive from 10am-3pm

With the influx of new residents in Indian River County, this is an educational event to help everyone stay safe in the event of a hurricane in our area.

On the same day, the Indoor VendorFest at the Mall will also take place.  You will have the opportunity to shop with a wide variety of local vendors showcasing their products/small businesses to the community. Raffles will also be held to support the Humane Society of Vero Beach (HSVB).  VendorFest is a monthly event held at the Mall.

Event takes place from 10AM-5PM.  For more info, contact Indian River Mall Management Office 772-770-9404 Option 3, Ext. 102.
