SRA’S SIGNATURE EVENT RAISES AWARENESS AND PHILANTHROPIC SUPPORT TO ENSURE LOCAL SENIORS LIVE HEALTHY, INDEPENDENT LIVES.
Vero Beach, Florida (4/21/2022) – On March 28th, Senior Resource Association (SRA) presented its 17th Annual Bingo Luncheon in fabulous Roarin’ 20s style. Glitz and glamour welcomed guests at Vero Beach Country Club with pearl necklaces for each, graciously provided by Treasure Lane Boutique. Greeted by vintage cars and dapper gents, they entered to discover a champagne silent auction with more than 20 fabulous packages, the Prohibition Wine Pull donated by members of the committee, a live jazz ensemble and a Roarin’ Raffle for a beautiful Diamond By The Yard necklace, generously donated by John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry!
“We’re extremely grateful to our many wonderful Bingo sponsors for making this event such a hit,” said Karen Deigl, SRA President and CEO, adding, “and our enthusiastic event committee created such a fun roaring 20s style atmosphere!”
Thanks to presenting sponsor New Vision Eye Center and dedicated volunteers, this year’s in-person BINGO games exceeded all expectations. Months of planning by committee members helped ensure this event would successfully raise needed funds to provide vital services to Indian River County seniors. Special thanks to Carrie Adams, Jenn Courtney, JoAnn Crosby, Jessica Francis, Lisa Harvey, Denise Laino, Deb Lietz, Dawn Michael, Sydney Mihailoff, Becky Moon, Eileen O’Donnell, Linda Triolo, Anna Valencia Tillery, Elizabeth Van Dyk, and Laurie Wykoff.
“I haven’t missed any of Senior Resource Association’s bingo events,” noted local realtor Kay Brown, “And I have to say, this one may have been the best ever!”
Helping to make this event one to remember and provide a lifeline of services to vulnerable seniors, more than 100 businesses and individuals gave in-kind donations. An amazing array of contributed treasures and experiences appeared in the silent auction and as prizes for the many game winners.
