Dino-mite! Motor Car Exhibition at McKee was a blast

Juxtaposed alongside the animatronic dinosaurs in McKee Botanical Garden’s Dinosaurs Around the World Exhibition were an impressive array of some 40 cars and 15 motorcycles in McKee’s 12th annual Motor Car Exhibition. More than 3,250 attendees perused the envy-worthy beauties that included a 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale, a 1956 Austin Healey, Ducati motorcycles, and even a Vespa.

Among the other powerful exotics were a 1958 Ferrari California Spyder and a 1984 Ferrari BB 512i. Having gotten their fill of the rare automotives, visitors slowed their roll and immersed themselves in the 18-acre subtropical botanical garden, as little ones urged their parents along the path to the Children’s Garden. Next up, on March 18-19, McKee will host the third annual Garden and Antique Show and Sale. For more information, visit mckeegarden.org.
