Festival of Orchestras features
Joshua Bell and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields
The Academy of St Martin in the Fields, with Music Director and Violin Soloist, Joshua Bell, will be performing on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Community Church of Vero Beach, 2801 23rd Street, and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 each.
The program will include Johann Sebastian Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor, Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto, and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, op. 55, (“Eroica”).
With a career spanning almost four decades, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated artists of his era. Having performed with virtually every major orchestra in the world, Bell continues to maintain engagements as soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor and Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.

About the Indian River Symphonic Association
Since 1994, the Indian River Symphonic Association (IRSA) has been bringing orchestral music to Vero Beach. The Association now brings seven or eight concerts each season, including critically acclaimed soloists and orchestras from around the world. IRSA also co-sponsors a Children’s Concert each year with the Community Church of Vero Beach, reaching 1400 fifth graders who may have never seen a live orchestra before. The Association’s Scholarship program provides funding for master classes and private lessons for music students in Indian River County. IRSA is a 501(c)(3).
