Priscilla Denise Mckay was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Mckay was held Tuesday at the Indian River County Jail on $30,000 bond.

Mckay’s booking information showed she lived in the 4700 block of Washington Terrace. But, her arrest report showed she resided at the Orangewood Park Apartment complex on 42nd Lane.

Indian River County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a disturbance about 9 p.m. Sunday at the Orangewood Park complex. A woman who had a cut on her left cheek and was bleeding from her left forearm spoke to deputies.

The woman said her two neighbors – Mckay and her husband – were arguing over relationship issues earlier that day. The woman stepped in when she saw Mckay and the man were about to fight, reports show.

The woman said Mckay grabbed the bottle and struck her in the forearm, which caused the bottle to break and left a deep cut, reports show. Mckay then swung the bottle again at the woman, cutting her on the bottom left cheek, deputies said.

Mckay told deputies a different story, saying that the woman came over and began antagonizing her husband, reports show. Mckay said she and the woman began fighting and that the woman was cut when she fell to the ground.

Deputies recovered the broken bottle.

Mckay was arrested and booked into the county jail. Mckay was ordered to not have any contact with the woman.

Mckay has an arraignment at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 25, court records show.
