Treasure Coast Chorale begins rehearsals Jan. 10

THE TREASURE COAST CHORALE BEGINS A 2022 SEASON ON JANUARY 10TH.  NEW SINGERS INVITED.

One of the longest-running chorale groups in Vero Beach, the Treasure Coast Chorale will begin rehearsals for its 18th year on Monday, January 10 at 7 p.m.  As always, this meeting of local singers will be at the First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, under the direction of its founder, Dr. Michael Carter.

“We have had a two-year layoff due to the Covid virus and everyone is so excited to be back together to prepare for two concerts in 2022, one on April 3rd and the other on Memorial Day weekend,” says Carter.  “The performances are free with a donation requested from our audience.  No reservations are needed.  Our excellent accompaniest, pianist Judy Carter, will be with us again and there will be musical guests for the concerts including the familiar oldies trio, The Dolls.”

The TCC Board of Directors is extending an invitation to all residents of the Vero area who might be interested in joining our chorus.  New members should have some experience singing harmony and be able to attend Monday night rehearsals.  In addition to singing great popular and themed concerts, they will enjoy the wonderful camaraderie of the group and the learning experience of working with Dr. Carter, who has one of the area’s finest tenor voices.

All singers are requested to arrive by 6:30 p.m. on January 10th to receive their music. For questions or directions, please call 772-231-3498 or visit www.treasurecoastchorale.org.
