December 3, 2021 (Vero Beach, Florida) – The Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County (HSVB) will once again reclaim Riverside Park in Vero Beach and declare the day for the dogs on Saturday, January 8, 2022., for the 10th annual Bark in the Park event.
This free admission, family fun-fest will feature a dog parade and performances by the world famous Disconnected K-9 Frisbee dogs, the equally impressive Ultimate Diving Dogs, the Puppy Pals Comedic Dog Show, and Indian River County’s very own amazing K-9 officers and their partners. Dogs will have an opportunity to run the always-popular lure course and compete in our pup costume contest! For all the non-dogs, there will be food vendors, beer, merchandise booths, and a kids’ zone.
Thousands of pet lovers attend Bark in the Park each year and everyone is welcome to bring well-behaved dogs on a (non-retractable) leash. The dog parade will kick off this year’s event at 10 am. All proceeds raised at Bark in the Park benefit the homeless, lost, and at-risk animals in our community.
