VBTG Behind The Scenes Night

Dear VBTG Patrons:

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the stage during a performance or what steps Guild performers have taken to get to the point of performing? Are you curious what happens to get the performers up on stage? When the curtain goes up many unseen people go into action to manage the lighting, sound, scenery, props, and make sure the actors are at the right place at the right time, not to mention their costumes, make-up, and hair.

You must have millions of questions like, where do the costumes come from, where are the dressing- rooms, who is operating the lighting and sound- effects, are there separate rehearsal rooms, and is there a director behind the scenes during the show?

All this doesn’t just happen without the work of many dedicated people to support the performers to bring the show to the community. It takes planning, communication, cooperation, support, time, practice, practice, and more practice to pull it all off for your entertainment.

It also takes money. That’s why we are holding a fund raiser to help defray costs that are not otherwise covered by ticket sales. The Vero Beach Theatre Guild, in its’ 64th season, needs your help to continue to be successful as the oldest community theatre on the Treasure Coast.

So, this is how you can help. The Board of Directors is inviting you to be a part of “BEHIND THE SCENES” to be held on Saturday afternoon February 5, 2022.  During this event you will have all your questions answered. Tours will start at 1:00 pm and afterwards any questions that you may still have will be answered as you enjoy some hors d’oeuvres, wine, or beer.

NOW, HERE IS THE PUNCH LINE! WOULD YOU BE WILLING TO COMMIT TO DONATING $100.00 TO HELP US EMBARK UPON FUTURE SEASONS FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT AND BE PART OF THIS EXCITING EVENT? For your convenience, you can pay by credit card or by sending a check, made out to VBTG.
