Vero Beach, November 12, 2021 – It’s that time of year again; local citrus growers and packers donate famous Indian River citrus to benefit the community-wide work of United Way of Indian River County.

The annual holiday Citrus Sale will occur throughout the week from 9:00 AM on Monday, November 29, 2021, and ends promptly on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 3:00 PM. Orders can be placed online at UnitedWayIRC.org/citrus-sale, or by phone at (772) 203-5766.

Boxes of Navel oranges or Ruby Red grapefruit will be offered in small boxes for $40.00 or large boxes for $55.00. With a purchase of 10 boxes, receive one free. Shipping is included. Fruit cannot be mixed.

“For over 25 years, our local citrus houses have donated to our mission. It’s a partnership we greatly appreciate and look forward to offering this fundraiser to the public annually,” said Sydney Mihailoff, Relationship Development Manager. All proceeds benefit the programs and services supported by United Way Indian River County.

Fruit is not available for takeaway upon ordering. Cash, check, or credit card accepted. Fruit is scheduled to ship via UPS on December 6, 2021. All orders must be received BEFORE 3:00 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021.
