“We feel incredibly lucky to have Emmet Cahill with us to kick off the holiday season in Central Florida,” said Collins. “He has performed with the Irish band Celtic Thunder for the better part of a decade and is considered the top male singer in all of Ireland.”

Emmet Cahill has been called the heir apparent to John McCormack, the legendary Irish singer who performed many of Ireland’s most beloved songs.  Cahill enjoys a robust solo career that blends current standards with songs of his Irish homeland.

According to the last U.S. Census, there are 34.5 million Americans who list their heritage as either primarily or partially Irish — a number seven times larger than the population of Ireland itself (5 million). Irish ranks second (only to German) as the most common ancestry among Americans.
