MCKEE BOTANICAL GARDEN ANNOUNCES ITS 2021 HOLIDAY HOURS AND EVENTS
VERO BEACH, FL -November 5, 2021- McKee Botanical Garden is pleased to announce its holiday hours and Magic of McKee Festival of Lights dates and schedule.
In recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Garden will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25. The Garden will be open on Friday , November 26 and Saturday, November 27 from 10 am – 5 pm and on Sunday, November 28 from noon – 5 pm. (Last admission ticket sold at 4 pm. Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm.)
In recognition of Christmas, the Garden will be closed on Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24 and Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25. The Garden will be open on Sunday, December 26 from noon – 5 pm. (Last admission ticket sold at 4 pm. Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm.)
In recognition of New Year’s, the Garden will be closed on New Year’ s Eve, Friday, December 31 and New Year’s Day, Saturday, January 1, 2022. (Last admission ticket sold at 4 pm. Children’s Garden closes at 4:30 pm.)
Brighten up your holidays during the Magic of McKee Festival of Lights on Thursday, December 16 through Sunday, December 19, Tuesday, December 21 through Thursday, December 23, and Tuesday, December 28 through Thursday, December 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm nightly. The lush tropical foliage of the Garden is illuminated with thousands of professionally-installed LED lights, lighted holiday displays and festive decorations. Visit with Santa (December 17-19), marvel at the large-scale train display (December 21-23 and December 28-30), listen to the music of the 1924 Wurlitzer Band Organ (December 16-19), enjoy performances by local entertainers (December 21-23), and watch your favorite holiday movies on a big outdoor screen. The Garden Café will be serving special holiday treats throughout the evening events. Dates and times for the activities listed above vary. Please check our website for a complete schedule as dates and times are subject to change. In addition to the evening events, the Garden will be hosting daily holiday-themed crafts and games during our regular Garden hours from December 1 to December 23. General admission rates apply. (The Garden will close at 5:00 pm and will reopen at 6:00 pm for the evening events. The evening events are a separate admission fee from our regular admission).
General admission rates apply: $15 Adults, $13 Seniors (65+)/Youth (13-17), and $10 Children ages (2-12). McKee members and children under 2 free.
