GIFFORD — Residents will have a chance to share their thoughts on the county’s proposed redistricting plans Monday evening at the Gifford Youth Achievement Center.
County officials will host a redistricting workshop at 6 p.m. Monday in room 1 of the Cis & Bill Glavin Educational Center, which is part of the GYAC. The educational center – adjacent to the main building – is located at 4889 43rd Avenue, Gifford, just south of Lindsey Road.
County officials will provide a presentation during the meeting on the three redistricting map proposals. The proposals were presented to the board of county commissioners at the group’s Oct. 19 meeting.
County officials will also share a revised map proposal based on feedback from the last board commission meeting. Members of the public will be able to provide their input on the proposed maps and the redistricting process.
