Eric Phillip Tolley, 40, Florida

Eric Phillip Tolley, 40, died October 8th, 2021 in New Port Richey, Florida.
He was born in Waltham, Massachusetts and had been living in Florida at the time of his passing.
Eric graduated from Watertown High School, attended Bunker Hill College and received his classical music training at the Longy
School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was Principal Bassist in the Youth Orchestra.
Eric had a joyful passion for all things music and was a skillful player of many instruments, most notably the upright bass. He loved to share his talents with young music students, teaching privately and volunteering at summer youth orchestra camps.
He will be especially remembered for his playing at rock and blues venues, and his jazz and orchestra performances.
Eric leaves behind his mother, Catarina Burkhard, and stepfather Dan Burkhard, who will forever carry him in their hearts, and his beloved son Brayden and his mother Sarah Cherico, of Hudson, New Hampshire. He will also be missed by his many friends and relatives in Massachusetts and Florida.
A private Memorial Service will be held.

Louis Vincent Tomasetti, 90, Vero Beach
November 24, 1930 – October 3, 2021
Louis Vincent Tomasetti, 90, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic – Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach.
Lou was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey to Constantino A. Tomasetti and Maria Rosa Della Torri. In 1995, Lou and his wife, Joanne, moved to Vero Beach from the Philadelphia area to enjoy their retirement in the beautiful sunshine of Florida.
He was a West Point graduate, Class of 1952, and went on to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, Lou entered the private business sector joining the General Electric Company as a jet engine test engineer. Lou worked for GE his whole career. As he demonstrated his business and leadership talents, he was assigned positions of greater and greater responsibility. Lou was known within GE for his honesty, integrity and candor. As his career progressed, he had management positions in divisions within GE that manufactured and sold a wide range of products including jet engines, locomotives, nuclear reactors, satellites and integrated circuits. For GE, Lou travelled to Europe several times, China and Iran. His job with GE enabled Lou and his family to live in Cincinnati, Boston, Burlington, VT, Phoenix, Fairfield, CT, and Philadelphia. After 35 years, Lou retired as Executive Vice President of the General Electric Aerospace and Defense Division.
He enjoyed the quiet life that living in Vero provided, especially the opportunity to spend more time with his family. He loved golfing with friends and reading biographies.
Lou is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Joanne Tomasetti, his children John Tomasetti (Cathy) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mark Tomasetti (Marylouise) of Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, Nancy Welling (Tom) of Liberty, Ohio, and Carl Tomasetti of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and his six cherished grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Food Bank.

Kenneth Price Hislop, 84, Sebastian
June 11, 1937 – October 07, 2021
Mr. Kenneth Price Hislop, 84, of Sebastian, FL passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian, Florida.
Kenneth was born in Glasgow, Scotland and came to the United States 50 years ago, living briefly in Canada before moving to Coral Springs, Florida, followed by Boynton Beach, Florida and just four and a half years ago to Sebastian, Florida.
He served in the Scottish Merchant Marine Fleet and attended the National Sea School before going to work at Air Pax Electronics Parker Instruments from which he retired as a Production Manager. He also held an advanced tonnage Captain’s License. He found himself not quite ready to retire so he began and successfully grew Captain’s Choice Catering, a food truck company in South Florida. Kenneth finally retired after developing a locally beloved business.
Kenneth was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian, Florida the US Power Squadron in Sebastian, Florida and a long time former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Margaret Hislop of Sebastian, Florida; son, Ronald Hislop (Cindy) of Lake Worth, Florida; daughter, Kim Hislop Perez-Santana (Ricardo) of Sebastian, Florida; sister, Angela Tollan of Glasgow, Scotland; grandson, Kenneth David Hislop of Lake Worth, Florida and granddaughter, Jaclyn McClellan (Eric) of Avon, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Matthew and Ronald Hislop.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sebastian Sea Scouts Ship #501, ATTN: Chair Wayne Newland, 8740 97th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967 in loving memory of Kenneth Price Hislop.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Sebastian at a later date.
