Kenneth Suchorski, 64, Vero Beach

September 20, 1956 – August 17, 2021

Kenneth Suchorski, 64, passed away August 17, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan and lived in Vero Beach for twenty years.

Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Margaret “Peggy” J. Suchorski; sons George Pastor (Teresa) of Vero Beach, Henry Pastor of Grayson, GA, and daughter Stephanie Perry (Art) of Seneca, SC; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Beverly Szymanski, Rita Rehahn, Alexander Suchorski, Christine Ferland, Delores Pfeiffer (d. 2/29/04), Lorraine Papiez; nieces and nephews; and a large extended family. Ken was loved by all for his Christian example, his generosity and good humor.

Ken was a member of Morning Star Church, Vero Beach. He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and he was very committed to fellowship with his church family and friends.

He owned and operated Ken’s Pool and Spa Repair for twenty years. As “The Godfather” of his profession, he was respected by his colleagues as a man of integrity and skill.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 11AM, Saturday August 28, 2021 at Morning Star Church, Vero Beach, 698 Timber Ridge Trail SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962.

Janice Murdock Weir, 70, Vero Beach

March 01, 1951 – August 23, 2021

Janice Murdock Weir of Vero Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 23rd, 2021. She was born to the late Jack and Louise Murdock on March 1st, 1951 in Augusta, Georgia. Jan graduated with a BA in Political Science from University of South Carolina in 1973 and an MBA from University of Georgia in 1975. She was married to William Charles Weir on December 27th, 1973. They lived in many different places including South Carolina, Georgia, Los Angeles, and St. Louis before finally settling down in Vero Beach in 2000.

Jan was a charismatic person that lit up any room that she walked into. Her greatest joys in life were her family, friends, college football, and bridge.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Charles Weir; son, Charlie (Christen) Weir; daughter, Jessie (Chris) Chouinard; grandchildren, Blake, Zach, and Jamie; and her mother, Louise Able Murdock.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27th from 4:00 until 5:30 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church with a Prayer Service to begin at 5:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 28, 2021.
