Mrs. Carol Lee Mitchell, 89, died June 23, 2021 in Winter Haven, Florida.
She was born in McMechen, West Virginia and lived in West Palm Beach, Florida before relocating to Sebastian, Florida in 1979 then after retiring from the banking industry Carol moved to Winter Haven, Florida.
Carol worked 7 years as an Executive Secretary for Atlantic Bank which was then formally known as 1st Union Bank, while in the banking industry Carol held memberships with the Credit Bureau and Palm Bay Coast Title.
She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian, Florida.
Survivors include her daughters, Robin Lee Campbell Burden, Deborah Sue Young Haines and Danielle Thiam; stepdaughters, Judy Hassett and Becky Lowry; brother Robert Sivard; sister, June Lavelle; 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Mitchell who died in 1999.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Strunk Funeral Home, 1623 North Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida 32958 followed by a Prayer Service being held at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Sparks, celebrant. Burial will take place at Sebastian Cemetery, Sebastian, Florida immediately following the service.
