The Unity Artist Series celebrates the vast array of talent in the Indian River and neighboring counties. It provides a beautiful setting and an excellent opportunity to enhance your Saturday or Sunday afternoon with music or artistic expressions. Each event will be different in style and genre. The concert is free and open to the public. All donations received during the shows are appreciated and will go directly to produce and continue these events in the future.
We are delighted to welcome the FPC Youth String Orchestra to our opening performance on July 25th, 2021. These multi-talented musicians received 1st place with Superior Distinction at Universal Studios Music in the Park competition in 2019. Their professionalism and command of this art form are astounding.
The orchestra chairs about 30 members with instruments ranging from the viola, violin, cello, and bass. Most exciting, this will be their final fundraising performance before the orchestra leaves for Colorado to represent Vero Beach in the Aspen Invitational Music Festival. The orchestra will experience four days of performing and receiving masterclasses from world-renowned musicians and educators.
Dr. Jacob Craig is the orchestra’s conductor and music director at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach. He is also a 2019 Laurel Award recipient for Educational Arts Leadership.
This Unity Artist Series concert is scheduled for July 25th at 4pm. It will be held at Unity Spiritual Center, 950 43rd Avenue in Vero Beach.
