Theatre Guild Opens Season 64

SEASON 64 AT THE VERO BEACH THEATRE GUILD 

The Vero Beach Theatre Guild heads into Season 64 beginning July 14 with the opening of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” directed by Michael D. Naffziger. The Broadway Tony Award winner will continue to run through July 25.

Up next, and just in time for Halloween and under the direction of Alex Martinez will be Bram Stoker’s classic thriller “Dracula” playing October 6 – 17 followed by another Tony Award winner, “Sleuth.” This clever whodunit, directed by Alex Kantor, runs November 10 – 21.

Kicking off the New Year, 2022 will be the hilarious comedy based on a true story, “Calendar Girls” directed by Art Pingree January 12 – 23. 

The hit Broadway musical about love and marriage, “I Do! I Do!” will be performed February 9 – 27 and is under the direction of Artistic Director Jon Putzke, with musical direction by Gregory Harris and choreography by Beth McKenzie-Shestak. A farcical romp through an English Vicarage; “See How They Run” guarantees to tickle the funny bone March 16 – 27.

Closing out the 64th Season for the Guild under the direction of Patti Hall will be an hilarious hot-button comedy, “Native Gardens” playing May 11 – 22.

Tickets are $30 for the plays and $35 for the musical. Performances are given Tuesdays through Saturday evenings at 7:30pm with Saturday and Sundays matinees at 2pm. Reservations can be made by phoning the box office Mondays through Fridays from 10am to 2pm or in person at 2020 San Juan Avenue during weekly box office hours.
