Unveiling of Words from War sculpture

VERO BEACH – The Next Generation Veterans, Inc., announced plans to unveil the much anticipated “WORDS FROM WAR Monumental Sculpture.”  WORDS FROM WAR, created by renowned sculptor Ross Power, stands more than 9 feet tall and 18 feet in diameter. Over 48,000 pounds of precision cast concrete was used to replicate T-Walls, the symbol of safety known by all Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. 

The unveiling ceremony will begin on Saturday, June 26th, at 10:00 a.m., at Riverside Memorial Park, between the Vero Beach Museum of Art and the entrance to Memorial Island. The sculpture represents the sacrifices made by the men and women of our military services, as well as the community’s continued support of our veterans. The event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
