Riverside Theatre for Kids Camps

(Vero Beach, FL) Riverside Theatre for Kids announces its summer camp schedule for 2021. Kevin Quillinan, Director of Theatre Education, will be leading two, in-person performance focused camps throughout June and July 2021.

“After a challenging year for everyone,” said Mr. Quillinan, “we are excited to offer the youth of our community a positive outlet to explore their talents through our new Performance Academy camps!  This refreshingly different direction for our education program will offer a combination of dedicated performing arts technique training while also gaining performance experience in quality shows.”

The Performance Academy will be split into a Junior Academy for younger performers in June, and a Senior Academy for older students in July. These in-person camps will divide the day between technique instruction in singing, acting, and dance in the mornings and rehearsals for a show in the afternoons.

“Students will be taught by professionals from the worlds of theatre, dance, and music for half of each day,” he said, “before spending each afternoon rehearsing a show to be performed at the end of the camp. The structure and philosophy of our Performance Academies will continue throughout the year, too, with details coming soon.”

Each Performance Academy will require students submit an online video audition by April 20th

A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
