Ronald Sinclair, 74, Vero Beach
June 24, 1946 – March 29, 2021
Ronald Sinclair, age 74, of Vero Beach, passed away March 29, 2021.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Vero Beach in 1987, coming from Titusville, FL.
Ronald was a United States Army veteran; having served during the Vietnam War.
He retired as Sergeant, Crime Scene Investigator, after 17 years with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (1987-2004).
Ronald was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift and Meals on Wheels.
Ronald was attending Harper High School, Chicago; was drafted and entered the Army to serve his country.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Wodtke Sinclair; son, Kevin Schnell; brother, Donald (Jan) Sinclair; sister, Charlotte McCasland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald was predeceased by his father, James A. Sinclair, mother, Fern Sinclair, and brother, James Sinclair.
A Memorial Mass will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Helen Catholic Church, with inurnment to immediately follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach.

Harry J. Arnold, Jr., 80, Vero Beach
September 8, 1940 – March 29, 2021
Harry J. Arnold, Jr., 80, of Vero Beach, FL formally of Rumson, NJ, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic – Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach.
Harry was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Harry J. Arnold and Mary Regina Moran. He and his beloved wife of 51 years, Patricia, began spending winters in Vero in 2002 and became full-time residents in 2012.
He grew up in the shadow of Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, NY where he listened to all the Dodger games and fell in love with the game of baseball. Harry received his undergraduate degree from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ before attending the University of Virginia where he earned his law degree. He then joined the US Army where he attained the rank of Captain.
Harry loved playing golf at Navesink Country Club and Quail Valley, enjoyed playing tennis at Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club, spent many nights at the University Club of New York after an evening in the city and was a proud member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick New York. He loved traveling with his wife, sports, history and the military. Harry was an avid reader, a wiz at crossword puzzles and an eclectic collector.
In addition to his wife Patricia, survivors include their daughter Mary Beth (David) Phang of Coral Springs, FL, beloved granddaughter Patricia Dorothy, brothers James, Robert (Mary Anne) Arnold and Gregory (Maureen) Arnold, sisters Joan (James) Ball and Janice Arnold, sister-in-laws Mary (Tip) O’Neill, Kathleen (Joe) Carlet, Diane Hughes, Michaela Shanklin and Nora (Ed) Young, numerous nieces and nephews, his caregivers Anna, Palma and Sarah, as well as many wonderful friends. He loved them all.
He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Virginia and John Flanagan and brother-in-laws John Hughes and Robert Shanklin.

A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Harry will begin at 10 AM, Friday, April 9th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

Mr. Harry V. Pine Jr., 68, died March 25, 2021 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
He was born in York, Pennsylvania and lived in Roseland, Florida.
Harry enjoyed working as grounds keeper/maintenance repairs personnel for a Golf Course until his retirement.
