Barbara Ann Connor, 86
September 7, 1934 – March 14, 2021
On March 14, 2021, Barbara Ann Connor joined her husband, Walter, into eternity. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family. Barb was always ready to celebrate and loved making memories with anyone, no matter the age! Born in Yonkers, NY in 1934 to Patrick and Margaret Kenny and predeceased by siblings Alfred “Bud” and Margaret Agnes, Barbara grew up a city girl until she and Dad met in a bar and married 1955. They honeymooned on Vickers Island in Lake George, with Pop pop sharing his love of camping and the lake with his bride. VERY shortly, along came Doug, Sue, Maureen, and Andrew and a slew of dogs named Teddy. They moved from vacationing on the lake to full time dad-build lake a-frame life in 1988. The force was strong with the Connor clan and 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren were added and Grammy made a point to be there for her all of them and made them feel loved and celebrated. Never was there a woman so young a heart who made every friend, in-law son or daughter, adopted child or grandchild feel so included in her love and affection! Here’s to a life well lived!
