Four workshops on dealing with COVID-related stress have been scheduled for March by the Center for Spiritual Care in Vero Beach.
The free workshops, offered on Zoom, are underwritten by U.S. Government Coronavirus CARES funds through United Way, according to Center director Carol Ludwig. They are part of a continuing series designed to build resiliency and balance in the face of the pandemic.
“These encounters bring together residents from all over the Treasure Coast to learn from each other and group leaders how to cope with anxieties and uncertainties caused by this prolonged assault on our normal lives,” said Ludwig.
The Zoom workshops will be held Friday, Mar. 5, 1-4 p.m.; Wednesday, Mar. 10, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Mar. 17, 1-4 p.m.; and Saturday, Mar. 20, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
They will be moderated by Charlotte Cain LaJoie, LMHC, a longtime Vero Beach psychotherapist, and Ludwig, co-founder of the Center for Spiritual Care.
Further information on the workshops is available by calling the Center at 772-567-1233.
