VERO BEACH, Fla., February 16, 2021 – Piper Aircraft announced today that it will host a series of virtual information sessions for the 2021 Apprenticeship Program. The information sessions will provide program details, answer questions and guide potential applicants through the application process.
To facilitate the virtual sessions, Piper is using technology to provide a way for people to interact with Apprentice Program specialists and get answers to their questions about college credits, work schedules, and training opportunities. Between March 10th and April 20th, Piper will use GoTo Meeting to facilitate the virtual presentations. This is an easy to use web-based application that connects people together using audio and video tools. The app can be used on a smartphone or on a tablet or home computer. The virtual sessions will group potential apprentices with a member of the Piper Apprentice Program recruitment team. During these sessions, participants will be able to view a presentation, ask questions about the program and receive guidance on how to apply.
The Virtual Information Sessions will take place on the following dates and times:
March 10, 2021 6:00 p.m. EST
March 30, 2021 7:00 p.m. EST
April 8, 2021 8:00 p.m. EST
April 20, 2021 7:00 p.m. EST

The two-year program includes a combination of on-the-job training as well as classroom instruction designed to qualify the participants as a Journeyman in Aircraft Assembly.
