Betty Marie Munger, 92, Vero Beach

March 9, 1928 – February 5, 2021

Betty Marie Munger, 92, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.

Betty was born in Colorado Springs, CO and was raised in Savannah, Missouri.  She returned to CO in 1965 with her family where she resided until she relocated to Vero Beach with her granddaughter and her family in 2018 from Strasburg, CO.

She had worked as a printer for the Denver Post newspaper prior to her retirement.   Betty had served as a volunteer at the North Jeffco Senior Center in Arvada, CO and after her retirement she enjoyed her time traveling, doing cross stitch and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son Robert B. (Amy) Munger of Glendale, AZ, granddaughter Melissa (Mark) Laughlin of Vero Beach, grandsons Andrew (Michelle) Munger of Glendale, AZ and Ryan (Andrea) Munger of Gilbert, AZ, great-grandchildren Matthew, Trevor, Jacen, and Joey Laughlin, Olivia, Caroline, Clayton and Katherine Munger and daughter-in-law Danise Munger of Grand Junction, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnie and Mary Withrow, brother Beryl Withrow and her son Donald A. Munger.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado, 13123 East 16th Avenue, Box 045, Aurora, CO 80045.

Natalie Dorothy Talarico Gordon, 97, Vero Beach

December 25, 1923 – February 08, 2021

Natalie Dorothy Talarico Gordon, 97 of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away February 8, 2021.

Born December 25, 1923 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Gordon was a daughter of the late Pancrazio Talarico & Rose Rizetti Talarico.

A member of St. Helen Catholic Church, she enjoyed spending time with her friends & family. In her earlier days, Mrs. Gordon loved music & dancing.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her loving husband, George D. Gordon on November, 28, 1998; her grandson, Kevin Azen; and nine siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Saunders; a great-grandson, Nicholas Azen; and many other loving family & friends.

Upon her wishes, there are to be no formal services.
