VERO BEACH, FL. – (February 1, 2021) The Junior League of Indian River is hosting its first Passport to Local – an event of shopping, dining and experiences taking place February 15, 2021 through February 20, 2021.
Shoppers can purchase a passport for $25 which provides them with a booklet containing discounts, rewards and offers from local businesses. These booklets will be available to purchase via Eventbrite and at The Beach Shop. As participants dine, shop, and participate, they will receive stamps within their booklet. The shoppers will submit their passports and those with the most stamps can win a prize.
“The goal for this community-oriented event is to partner with local businesses and show support for one another while raising funds to continue our work in the community,” said Samantha Kelly, Junior League of Indian River Fundraising Vice President. “We wanted to continue supporting local businesses through a shopping and dining event during this difficult time while still remaining safe and socially distanced.”
The Junior League of Indian River is a women-led volunteer organization made up of astute business, community and family leaders who are poised and passionate about everything they do. The organization provides a forum that brings like-minds together and serves multiple functions.
