Indian River County verified 52 new COVID-19 cases Monday, along with two new deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health county report. This raises the total amount of county cases to 8,822, while the death count increased to 196.
The numbers in the reports are provisional and subject to change. Health officials said 91 out of the 196 Indian River County deaths were at long-term care facilities.
