Anson C. Fyler, 96, Indian River Estates

Anson C. Fyler, 96, of Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020.
He was born in East Hartford, CT., on July 30, 1924, graduated from Mount Hermon Prep School and received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
He served in the USNR during World War II as a LT. Junior Grade aboard the USS Midway in the North Atlantic. After discharge, he continued in active Naval Reserve with the submarine service out of New London, CT training on the USS Burrfish. He resigned from the Navy as a Lieutenant.
He worked in the electrical manufacturing industry for many years heading up several companies as Chairman of the Board and President.
After retiring, he continued serving on national and local boards.
His hobbies included boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, golf and tennis.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anson Fyler, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Beryl Fyler; son Richard Fyler; granddaughters Jessica De Long and Dr. Carrie Fyler; great grandchildren Emma De Long, Michael De Long, Story Jean Taylor and Weston Taylor.

Barbara Miller Bradley, 84, Port St. Lucie
August 13, 1936 – December 27, 2020
Barbara Miller Bradley, 84, passed away on December 27, 2020 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach Florida. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on August 13, 1936, to the late Audrey Harpster Miller and Clyde Miller.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, eight of her nine siblings, and her husband John William Bradley, to whom she was married for 40 years. She is also survived by her son Gregory Scott, her daughter Sheryl Scott Talbott, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Barbara graduated from Mishawaka High School, and later continued her education in Accounting and became the Quality Control Supervisor for Miles Laboratories (later Bayer) for almost 40 years until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, crossword puzzles, cross-stitch, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Private services will be held at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association as a tribute gift at act.ALL.org or by mail at 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
