Veterans Council of Indian River County receives Dyer Difference Award

The Veterans Council of Indian River County received the Dyer Difference Award in support of the 1st Annual Veterans Council of Indian River County Sporting Clay Shoot. The tournament will be held at Indian River County Shooting Range on Saturday, November 7th, 2020 with a shotgun start at 9:00am.

“We thank Dyer Chevrolet, Mazda and Subaru in Vero Beach for their generosity. We are looking forward to a fun-filled morning of clay shooting at the 1st Annual Veterans Council of Indian River County Sporting Clay Shoot.” said Executive Director, Jim Romanek.

Veterans programs like the Upward American Veterans Program (UAV) assisting veterans with emergency financial assistance; the Veterans Helping Veterans Program (VHV) providing basic home improvements for veterans who can’t afford them or are physically unable to complete the work; Transportation Services delivering our disabled veterans to and from their life-sustaining medical appointments; and providing college scholarships to children of local veterans, only exist because of the generous support of supporters like Dyer Chevrolet, Mazda and Subaru in Vero Beach.
