Gifford Youth Achievement Center’s Drive-In Movie Night Sold-Out

The Gifford Youth Achievement Center’s (GYAC) Drive-In Movie Night, presented by the Bernard Egan Foundation, is officially sold out.

“We are blessed to have the opportunity to bring this hope-inspiring evening to life and are grateful for the immense support we have received from individuals and businesses alike,” remarked GYAC Executive Director Angelia Perry.

In celebration of World Kindness Day, the pop-up drive-in movie will take place at Riverside Park on Friday, November 13. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the feature film will start shortly after 6:00 p.m.

Keeping with the theme of kindness, GYAC is collaborating with another local non-profit that knows a little something about spreading kindness through food and ministry- The Source Ministries. The Source will be GYAC’s exclusive food vendor, cooking up delicious bites in their Dignity Food Truck. The Dignity Food Truck sells award-winning foods throughout the community and provides a training opportunity for homeless culinary students to get hands-on training with real customers. Thanks to The Source’s user-friendly app, guests can order with their smartphone or in-person from the window.

Now guests can catch a fabulous flick at a safe distance and support two local non-profits simultaneously.
