Gifford Youth Achievement Center’s out to inspire world of kindness

VERO BEACH – Pack up your pillows and blankets! In celebration of World Kindness Day, the Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) is planning a pop-up drive-in movie experience they hope will inspire a world of kindness.

“As a non-profit focused on inspiring people of ages and backgrounds to reach their ultimate potential, kindness is intrinsic to our organization. With drive-in movie showings on the rise, we look forward to offering a safe, feel-good way to bring the community together,” says Angelia Perry, GYAC Executive Director.

The drive-in movie will take place at Riverside Park on Friday Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. To make admission affordable for families, GYAC will charge $10 per carload. Space is limited, masks are encouraged due to social distancing guidelines and food will be available for purchase.

Partnership opportunities are available and range from $2,500 for an exclusive presenting partnership to $500 for kindness partners. Benefits vary accordingly. Details can be found online at gyac.net.

“We hope that you will decide to join us as we set out to bring a message of hope and kindness to our neighbors,” proposes Peggy Gibbs, GYAC’s Director of Philanthropy.  “It’s just the message needed during these difficult times.”
