Threatre Guild offers online ‘Character Makeup Workshop’ online

Our amazing and brilliant makeup artist at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild, Rob Volsky, is offering an online version of the highly popular Character Makeup Workshop he presented last year.

This pilot program is unique in several ways. Workshop participants will be able to interact with Rob and other students up-close and personal via Zoom. Each of the Friday Fantasy Character Makeup Workshops will demonstrate the use of professional theatrical makeup supplies and you will be invited to try this at home.

With a week in between meetings, you can easily obtain and practice with your own supplies, or suggested products and refine your techniques to share your work in the next meeting. Positive critique and tips for improvement will be provided.

You can advance to any level and practice at your own pace.

A Mehron Mini-Pro kit is recommended for beginners. Advanced materials may be added, if desired.

Inspiration from countless online makeup resources will be shared.

Flexibility: Attendance at each meeting is suggested, but not required. You are encouraged to participate along with the demonstrations, but view-only / record for later is ok, too.

Topics will be interest-driven, with an emphasis on The Fundamentals of Makeup Artistry. Each meeting will be unique.

A $30 fee is required to be invited to all nine Zoom meetings. Fees will help sustain the Guild through these challenging times.
