Indian River County Commission Chairwoman Susan Adams topped the list of several countywide officials who won re-election without opposition, according to the supervisor of elections website.
Adams automatically won a second four-year term in Commission District 1 after no other candidate qualified for the ballot by the deadline at noon, Friday. Also winning re-election without opposition were Property Appraiser Wesley Davis, Supervisor of Elections Leslie Swan and Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Jeffrey Smith.
Candidates who won re-election to the county’s hospital district seats without opposition were Tracey Zudans, Karen Deigl, and Michael Weiss. Robert J. “Bobby” Lindsey Sr. also won without opposition to a seat on the soil and water conservation district.

- General election, Nov. 3, polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, Oct. 19- 31. Voters must register by Oct. 5.
